- Industry Training Authority of BC Youth Work in Trades Program: Get ahead on the work-based training of a trade apprenticeship while you’re still in high school.
- The Education Planner BC allows you to compare BC’s post-secondary options for trades students, including apprenticeship programs.
- LiUNA Local 1611 in cooperation with the Industry Training Authority (ITA) is offering two apprenticeship level training courses for Construction Craft Worker.
- UA Piping Industry College of BC (UAPICBC): A United Association Trade School providing pre-apprenticeship, apprenticeship and certification training in the Piping Trades: Plumbing, Sprinkler fitting, Steam fitting and Welding.

Financial Assistance Options for BC Apprentices
- The BC Access Grant for Labour Market Priorities (BCAG-LMP) provides education grants. Please visit StudentAidBC’s BCAG-LMP web-page.
- WorkBC: Resources for apprentices and their employers about apprentice financial supports available from both Provincial and Federal sources.
- Government of Canada Apprentice Support Programs: Apprentices can apply for up to $4,000 in interest-free loans per period of technical training.
